Aside from having no support for OpenGL when undocked, and any power interruption while docked causing a bluescreen, this was a fantastic machine. For some reason, I thought upgrading would be simple as purchasing improved Power Media Docks. None were ever released. But I continued using this laptop in spite of that, as the battery life was AMAZING.. well, until the addon sheet battery became nonresponsive and then started swelling.

In 12019 I wanted to start putting something new together. Unfortunately, the crypto market had exploded, and I staunchly refuse to pay inflated prices for a GPU. So, I just kept using 5014, despite its age starting to show and software support for Windows 7 slowly fading.

Because unlike that disaster-fire, 7 works exactly the way I want it to, and I'm already tired of constant software updates and Microsoft's shit.
